Help!!

Ok everyone!! Here's the thing! (i feel so rediculous doing this! )
This fall I will be attending the University of Alabama. And I DEFINATLY will be going through rush. With the end of my senior year coming to a close, I have been so busy and boggled down, I haven't really done much preperation lately.
1>With the recs that I have, do I need to get the writers of the recs the rec forms, or do they do that?
2>Will my senior drape picture be good to put on my resume'?
3>As with any person I'm sure, there's alot to me that I just don't see how the sorority people will get to see in me. I am SOOOO totally outgoing. Like I love to meet and talk to people and make friends with EVERYONE. I'm a total politician! I'm notorious for it But im really frightened that I'll be so nervous they wont get to see that, and will think im all shy and reserved. What do you guys think about that?
4>What are the chances, for any of you bama girls on here, that someone wont get a bid??
5>Should my resume' just have the following headings: clubs/organizations....family info...awards/honors...church/community service....hobbies/interests??? and for that last one, anything i should know to help capture their eye, or something not to put??

Any other advice or help or words of encouragement would be sooo appreciated! im a wreck! i am sooo excited about all of this, but scared at the same time. ugh! ive done SOOO much research on all the sororities...on the philanthropies and colors etc etc...all in preperation. i hope that will prove to be effective.

thank you all in advance!!! i speak on behalf of myself, all the future bama girls, and all future rushees in general when i say all you sorority girls on here that have offered these posts for us have saved our lives!! ive found sooo much comfort in the posts from all of you...especially southern_theta!! and ive also made many new friends that i will be going through rush with at bama...and that will be living with me in Tutwiller! this is THE most amazing site! and thank you girls sooo much!!

I've written recs for girls in the past and have just gotten a copy of their "resume" (including all activities, classes, GPA, etc. from high school) that I used to write the recs. A special form wasn't required.

A senior drape picture would be great. Just no glamour shots, if you know what I mean.

I think that the real you will come out. Even if you're shy during the first couple of house visits on the first day, you'll eventually loosen up -- especially when you find the girls that you click with the best. Then you'll be able to open up even more! Plus, all the girls realize how nervous rushees are at first, so they expect it and know how to deal with it.

4>What are the chances, for any of you bama girls on here, that someone wont get a bid?? Can't answer that one. It depends on how many women are going through Rush this year and what Panhellenic sets the quota at. All I can say is DO NOT SUICIDE RUSH!!

My only advice here is to make sure that you only list the organizations that you actively participated in. Don't list clubs that you were a member of in name only because the girls want to know what you actually DID for those organizations, not just that you had your picture taken with them in the yearbook. Understand what I mean?
