* returning from working the night shift at a hospital
* going to work at a coffee shop
* picking up Nyquil for a sick girlfriend
* gassing up his car for a long drive
But yeah, he definately must have been selling drugs. Or using prostitutes. Or both. Which would make it OK for him to have been shot. Right?
