We already know that USC is #4 in the BCS, thus guaranteeing them a BCS Bowl - the Orange just might take Iowa snubbing #10 Notre Dame. Leaving The Rose Bowl (WSU already playing in it as Pac 10 champ) with the following teams to choose from:

Big 12 winner (OU)
ACC winner (FSU)
SEC Winner (Georgia)
USC (at-large)

The Rose Bowl would MOST LIKELY choose OKlahoma for the Rose Bowl so it wouldn't have to have a Pac 10 vs Pac 10 matchup. Then Georgia would meet USC in the Sugar Bowl.
Bring 'em all on... The Sooners looked like they're back after last night!

CU tried the long ball and it was stopped. FS Brandon Everage is finally looking himself again.

Doesn't matter who OU plays or in what bowl. They'll win.

Oklahoma has been the jekyl and hyde team this year. Yes, at times they have looked like the BEST team in the country. Than again, just when people start to think that, OU will lose a game.

Iowa vs. USC is going to be the best bowl game this year - no doubt about it.

I'm disappointed I won't be going to Pasadena with all of the Tradition of the Rose bowl - but Miami is going to be a hell of a good time.

It's because they don't have a lot of depth right now in the secondary.. Or at least the secondary is playing hurt (or has been) and has given up big plays (long passes have been the only way anyone's been running up points on Oklahoma).

Ya sure about that one? The oklahoma game will be good, and the Miami game will be fun to watch. Time to see if the big ten can step up. Iowa in my eyes is a longshot to be USC just like Ohio St vs Miami so it will interesting to see.

Miami no defense...

Ohio State no offense...

Should be interesting.

Was nice to see TX Tech show what the Big 12 South is like. They went 55-15 against Clemson. Will be interesting to see how much the rest of the Big 12 teams are going to win by

KT, man, I knew your ass was going to do this, hahahaha - I was seriously watching the game, saying "Now those Big XII kids will be all up on TxTech's stuff . . . " although I was mostly looking toward my friends at ISU

Anyway - I'm not terribly impressed with thumping Clemson, they weren't a good team to start with, although the TT did look pretty solid, and especially Kingsbury looked pretty good. It will be interesting to see how his draft position turns up . . .

But where was this newfound desire to determine a conference's toughness by TTech's game when Iowa beat them last season, in SA?

(just playing man)

What happened to Hawaii? I thought they would have killed Tulane.

Their QB jammed his thumb in the first period. The backup wasn't quite as good as Chang.

Tulane did play a pretty decent game though.

Yeah - Tulane's QB looked pretty good at times, too, and I guess Kiper has him rated pretty high going into next season . . . of course, that and a buck will get you a cup of coffee, except for at the starbucks
