Wow. Over 700 did not receive bids (of those signed up for Recruitment). Is that due to grades, cuts, matching?

I looked at those numbers and they didn’t make sense at all.

it is due to grade cuts and self-selecting (dropping) out of the process. while over 1900 signed up only around 1650 started the process. of those that didn't start, it's a split between grade cuts and those that signed up in the fall and then decided not to come back to school early for recruitment.

I know one family from church that had their daughter sign up for recruitment but then didn't return early (so dropped). Turns out the parents are both very anti-greek and didn't allow her to go through the process.

Ohio State: Quota = 50, Alpha Gamma Delta = 50
I know that most chapters made quota but don't have the exact numbers

Case Western Reserve: Quota = 24,
Alpha Gamma Delta = 24
Pi Beta Phi = 21
Phi Mu = 25
Sigma Sigma Sigma = 21
Alpha Chi Omega = 20 (counting heads)
Kappa Alpha Theta = 25
Still working on DG and Alpha Phi

The daughter of a friend is a sorority member at DePauw U in Greencastle, IN. They’ve always had a tremendously strong Greek system, but over the Holidays she was saying that recruitment sign-ups and numbers were way down.

Does anybody have any results from either fraternities or sororities? I’m not sure what “way down” means in terms of % or numbers.
