It's a very good idea. I've been urging my collegiate members for the better part of a decade now to adopt social media guidelines for our chapter. It's pretty awesome to see a collegiate member being so forward thinking. The best advice is to try not to reinvent the wheel. Maybe your HQ has some sort of best practices library? Or you can Google and steal someone else's policy and just tailor it to your chapter.
