I think that what he MEANT to say is that some houses will have 100 legacies to that GLO show up and all of their Moms and Grandmas and sisters are hoping they will want to be a member of that group as well, and if quota overall is 75, then the odds that all 100 (assuming all 100 want to get a bid there) will get that bid are basically non-existent. So then you have to be a realist and you and Mama will need to decide if it's ok for you to be a member of so-and-so instead of your legacy.
That does happen a lot and not just at Ole Miss.
