I have to echo the Delta Gamma love.
When I was a little girl, two of my cousins, sisters, were Delta Gammas at Wichita State. These girls were gorgeous--one was Jr. Miss Kansas--and they were lovely to their grubby, much younger cousin. I was always in awe of them. When I was in 1-3 grade, they were actives and they often spoke of sorority meetings and events, parties, homecoming, etc. and included me in the conversations as if I were their peer. I will never forget one of them going to her jewelry box and taking out her beautiful pearled DG pin and showing it to me. I asked if I could wear it, and she said, "No, you can hold it, but not wear it. Someday I hope you will have a sorority pin of your own to wear. Maybe you will even be my sister."
Oklahoma State didn't have a DG chapter, but I have always loved the anchor, the Gamma salute, Anchor Splash, etc and have a soft spot in my heart for all Delta Gammas.
