I'm economically conservative, but socially moderate (to liberal on some issues), and I register Republican.

My issues with the Democratic Party have a lot to do with bad ideas and horrific governmental programs justified with a facade of "fighting the good fight."

Also, I have separate taxation issues, as well as foreign-policy disagreements . . .

My issues with the Republican Party have a lot to do with the extreme right-wing religious groups that tend to be the 'vocal minority' - their arrogance (and ignorance) is awe-inspring at times, and their social agendas are self-serving, self-righteous, and often hypocritical.

The pandering to mega-business can get old at times, as well.
