www.theadvocate.com. (BR's newspaper). I searched for the name of one of the most recent victims (Pam Kinamore) and a ton of articles came up. The one that will fill you in on the latest says "DNA links three cases." The truck that I spoke of earlier (the rapist's) was infact a white chevy about the same year as the killers (96 or 97). So maybe it is the same person, which would be good because there is a sketch of the rapist. However, I believe that the rape occured in the Slidell area about 1 hr from Baton Rouge. I'll let ya'll know when I hear about the official DNA results.
This is kind of odd, but a friend of mine told me to always carry a magazine with me because no one will realize it is a weapon. You could roll it up and hit an attacker in the throat or in the temple. I don't know, I think I'll stick with my mace. Another thing, it kills me when I see women who not only jog alone but wear headphones! How are they supposed to hear someone coming up behind them?
