Don't know what the #1 Fact would be, but I have a little story.
Once upon a time (okay it was last week) a brother named Scotty found himself in Oregon on business and hooked up with another brother named Dave. They went out to dinner at an all-you-can-eat place.
Two college guys were seated at the next table, discussing fraternities. While Dave was refilling his plate, Scotty joined their conversation and found they were thinking about joining TKE.
"You know that guy I'm having dinner with? He's my one and only Lambda Chi little brother, and this is the first time we've been able to get together in 28 years".
The college guys were like, "Whoa Dude, really??? That is so totally awesome!"
The four of them talked for the rest of the night.
It's not really important which fraternity those guys eventually join, but I'll bet they do end up joining one. The important point is the recognition that fraternity lasts alot longer than a couple years in college.
To wit: Tom Earp, Jeff Bliss, and I will be looking for you Oct. 11 in Melbourne. Bring a carload. I'll even buy the hotel room for ya. And that's a fact.
