Since when is the Today show more about responsibility than ratings? From a capatalist standpoint, it may be irresponsible to not show footage that increases their media visibility. If the story is still hot, they may as well use it.

I saw a quote on Facebook that said something along the lines of how it must suck to be directly affected by the media's portrayal of a small percentage of your community that are probably nothing like you.
