That was at a different resort -- same weekend but different groups. I don't think any pictures have ever been shown for that incident, but it doesn't sound like it was of the same caliber at all (poor planning/too many people per hotel room/excessive wear and tear vs. tearing down ceilings and destroying furniture). It's appropriate that the two incidents were handled separately and that different punishments were meted out as warranted.

The Michigan Daily's site has a story / blog (above) about the estimated cost at Treetops ($400,000 - plus, including such things as attorneys' fees, accounting costs, and on and on, above the cleanup, repair and replacement costs). There seems to be some question about whether Sigma Alpha Mu and Sigma Delta Tau will "accept" the new dollar figure for reimbursement purposes.

In addition the story quotes a condo owner at the other resort, who describes the damage done and asks how it could not be considered malicious.
