That's pretty much like peeing all over the concept of being Panhellenic. It's also not very thoughtful of the PNM in question - i.e. it's more important for her to be an XYZ and denied the college experience than it is for her to possibly find a home with another group.
Until the NPC alumnae experience is as similar across the board as the NPC college experience, and until alumnae initiation for all 26 groups is practiced in a like manner, this way of thinking, to me, is absolutely dreadful.
