Glaze is just... flavorless.
See, I like glazed donuts. I just don't like Krispy Kreme glazed donuts. I mean, it's like a different kind of glaze or something. It's like a really wet glaze. That's disgusting. They've got to be using a different ingredient or something, because they taste weird, and they leave a weird after-taste. My favorite donuts from DD are the blueberry ones, and they too are glazed.

There used to be a donut place in Minnesota I used to go to when I was in undergrad called Bosa Donuts. They didn't have the variety like DD, but their glazed and sugared donuts were really yummy. So it isn't just the glaze for me.

These two posts are explicit, without being explicit. Reading them together is too funny. Lol!

This thread is what I love about GC. I have laughed out loud.

Also, KK over barfy DD, but I'm more than happy to drive 30 miles out of my way for Shipleys.

I feel like I've been in the thread before but it needs to be said again: both KK and DD are nasty.

Fried cake doughnuts for the win.

I was Mr. Popular at work yesterday because I brought in original glazed Krispy Kremes, fresh from the store. They all were happily eaten.

One of my son's teachers brought in assorted Dunkin' Donuts, also fresh from the store, for one of his classes yesterday. There were left-overs.

Draw what conclusions you will.

LOL! She is an awesome teacher!

But no, she brought the DDs in for her students. High school students. Who didn't eat all the DDs. High school students who didn't finish the free food.

Krispy Kreme. No contest. Those cake donuts are too dry, and DD too heavy. Now, a Grillswith is a little too much.

Got my free KK donut yesterday!
