Bid Day Shirt Slogan - Page 2

This is probably really stupid, but the Thetas at OU have a bid day shirt that reads:

Thought Theta (on the front)

Thought Right (on the back)

I came up with one in my head that said:

Thought Theta (on the front)

Went Kappa (on the back)

I just thought that might be a funny shirt, but it could just be me.

My bid day shirt is so cute. it looks sort of like a baseball jersey it has blue and yellow (king blue and gold) and phi sigma sigma written across the daisies. then in the back is says: "love us for who we were, who we are, and who we're becoming." nice and symbolic plus it doesnt offend anyone and I didn't feel dumb wearing it. fact, i still have it and wear it from time to time. makes a cute t-shirt with shorts or jeans!

The thought theta, went Kappa one is a little mean to Theta's, don't ya think?

I saw one hanging up the other day, that is a little risky, but I used it for a cup for my lil... (this may only work if you're from SC, anyway)

KD girls are sexy
Tri-Delt girls are, too!
But Delta Gammas got good looks
And sweet personalities, too!

Was that out of the Greek101 catalog? I saw a T-shirt with that design in that catalog.

i saw the design too, and the design is not the same, just the slogan. i dont know who came up with it....

Last year we had these cute shirts....on the front it said A Phi (like the nsync logo) on the bad it said "its gotta be phi". it was the best!
Others could be:
Perfect by nature, XYZ by choice
Follow your heart (or I followed my heart to XYZ)

We don't actually have bid day shirts since we don't participate in formal recruitment... but i have seen the other bid day shirts and rush shirts from campus:

last year i saw phi sig with the greek goddess thing mentioned before.
gamma phi had a vegas theme with "i hit the jackpot at gamma phi's bid day" or something to that affect.
AXO did something one year where it said "if you had three wishes, what would the other one be?"
ZBT and Sigma Pi has done the whole Mastercard/Priceless theme
We did the VW theme, a hawaiian theme with "best friends are we, my sisters and me" on the back, and then Chi Delta on fire... not too original but the shirt was tight.
I think this semester we are doing a "cheers" theme where i think they wanna say "you wanna go where all your sisters know your name."
Dave Matthews Band songs seem to be good sources for themes (The best of what's around...)

Last year our panhellenic recruitment shirts said:
We may stand out but we'll never stand alone.
It was really cute and you could probably use it for your individual chapter shirts

i loved our bid day shirts from this year -

the front had a fortune cookie, with a little fortune coming out that said "Phi Sigma Sigma"

and on the back, in (i dont know what you would call it) chinese-style lettters, the fortune said "Today is Your Lucky Day" then Phi Sigma Sigma Bid Day 2002. and at the very bottom, in teeny little letters it said "Lucky Numbers 2-12-2002" (which was the date for bid day)

kind of neat and definetly original.

Our rush shirts said "If you had 2 wished what would the other one be" and then the bid day shirts said "Start light, Star Bright I got the wish I wished last night" and then under it, smaller, it said "some stars shine brighter than others" I think it's important to have a bid day shirt that the NM's can wear with pride, that have a strong slogan

I laughed when I saw shirts that said "Loved or hated, but never ignored."

Not that people would want to use that for BID DAY, but it was funny in my opinion... another one of those pretty snotty ones
