You mean fazed, not phased. Library has dictionary. So does Internet.

And it's now firmly established that kairos has to have the last word, which is why she has a <2.0 GPA and she's on the internet, not studying, and … well, okay. Good luck, dear. Like I said, your problem will resolve itself by the second round.

I was just showing a sample of how high GPAs at some places could be.

Hey everyone -- so I decided I'd wait another year to rush since I'm planning on staying an extra semester or two. Would the sororities view me as a sophomore still in that case, since I'd be open to them for 3 years?

The University determines your class standing. So whatever they tell the chapters you - that's what they think you are. So you will have to try to combat that thru conversation - over and over - so that they know your intentions.

It depends. Official class standing is usually based on how many units/credits you have completed. Like Titchou said, the university will tell the chapters your official class standing based on your transcript.

Some people consider number of years completed to be an indicator. So, if it's your second year, you would be in your "sophomore year". HOWEVER, tread carefully as it can look really bad to be in your sophomore year but still not have passed enough credits for sophomore class standing.

My advice here is to not fib or bend the truth. Let's say that you are a junior, which would normally put you with two years left. You decide to take a minor and stick around for an extra year. You do NOT tell sororities that you are a sophomore. In the example, you would be a junior with three years left.

I hope I made some sense.

Unless you're doing so in hopes of raising your GPA, why would "staying an extra semester or two" be a reason to "wait another year to rush"?
