pref ceremony

With only four sororities on campus, and two to choose from on pref night, I didn't have an extremely difficult decision to make. I do slightly remember considering the colors before I wrote my first choice down, but after I got through that and really thought of how comfortable I felt there. I think the thing taht really got me was that there was a sister playing the piano, and there was a slight mixup when we walked in and I ended up with a active who was the roommate of a girl on my softball team. Once we figured that out, we hit it off, then we had to switch because of the mixup, and the girl I was supposed to be with made me feel so welcome. The the roommate of the softball friend gave a speech about how much AXO meant to her and how much she's going to miss it (she just graduated). I felt so, comfortable and felt like i could not NOT be in that sorority. I just think the combination of everything did it for me. Also, in my other choice, I did not feel as comfortable or as "at home", which is what it's really all about.
