2014 did not started well. I am back in Austin and thankful I landed a job. My husband is still in Northeast Ohio dealing with the cold and the house that is not holding to the bad weather.
We were in a car accident during the January ice storm in Austin and I hurt my ribs. The ribs are healing slowly and I am staying postive.
The biggest heartbrake is my father-in-law has been diagnosed with ALS. He has two years. My uncle passed away last August with the same disease which is absolutely awful. I need to be strong for my husband.

Oh no! I feel for you. My godfather was recently diagnosed with atypical ALS which seems not to respond well to medication. It was pretty shocking and upsetting news but seeing him last weekend helped. I'm sorry you have to go through this and just know that I'm praying for you and would love if you'd do the same for me. *hugs*
BTW...I've started calling my little cousin Kai-bear (her name is Kaiya). It just popped out one day and it was familiar enough that I knew I'd heard it from someone but couldn't place it.
