My parents have been the most influencial. The lessons they taught me throughout the years have helped me grow into the person I am today, and I like to think that I am a pretty normal person. They brought me up in a loving household and taught me that if I want something, I should work for it.
My 5th grade teacher cared more about teaching the skills that will get you through life more than english and math. She taught us to be tolerant and accepting of things that are different. She also would emphasize the timeless rule of "do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
My high school psychology professor made me want to study psychology in college, and 2 years later, I am still a psychology major, and will pursue a career in a related field. I have him to thank for instilling a passion for psychology that will drive me to succeed for years to come.
