Be involved in other campus activities, get to genuinely know girls involved in Greek Life, save money for dues and keep your grades up.
Also, try to reflect and think about why you didn't get a bid. Were you conversations awkward or forced? Did you lack any extracurriculars? Were you grades poor? Did you not show enough interest?
Think about your past experience and use it as a lesson and learning tool for formal recruitment because I don't know your school or how competitive it is, but informal recruitment is very different and more structured than informal and you don't want to get overwhelmed.
