Black listed
I was wondering if a person could be black listed from corporate? Someone I knew was on line for a sorority & the line got shut down because of accusations of hazings. An investigation was done but there was no evidence found. The girl was kicked out of school & now wants to try a different chapter of the same organization. Do you think she is black listed from the whole sorority?

As far as Delta is concerned, you ( ) will know if you are temporarily or permanently forbidden from becoming a member. You will receive a formal letter and your name will be on the National website under "Applicants Barred".
It is interesting no evidence was found of hazing. Sometimes that means the accuser was lying and sometimes that means there is a cover-up. Either way, you wouldn't want to be a member of a GLO for which you accused of hazing and the accusations were deemed unfounded. Snitches get called bitches.

Do you think they can secretly have your name somewhere that says "don't let in" or something when you apply again? I assume that they still have your application & info on file. Do you even think it is a good idea for her to even try again with that org? After al she went through, do you think it's really worth possibly going through it again. She really wants to be a part of the sorority with all her heart but I keep telling her, at what cost

Stepping way out of my lane, but I would like to say that these are not questions to pose on an Internet forum. For any organization.

It seems as though you are asking for yourself. I gave a general answer, the first paragraph based on my sorority and the second paragraph based on general Greekdom.
You will have to figure it out from there. "Common sense" tells you that people talk and snitches are snitches. None of us are psychic so we can't tell you what's what regarding being unofficially banned.
/why some GLO members don't answer questions

Jumping in here, while it was good that you reported a hazing incident that hopefully resulted in them stopping the behavior, that does NOT mean they have to welcome you with open arms. On this one you have to be satisfied that you did the right thing, but be satisfied and alone. MAYBE another school AND another sorority, but at this point I stray too far out of my lane.
