Saw a picture in my newsfeed of a hometown AOPi pledge and found another hometown girl who pledge Delta Gamma.

Sorry, but welcome to the TRIbe really made me cringe. Haven't there been enough embarrassments lately for collegians to learn to stop using ethnicities as themes?

And in a lot of the Bid Day pictures I saw, they had this Native American theme and had headpieces and feathers and it was cringey... They could've done something else.

Hey MP! Hope your naproxen sodium is still working! I took a few Advil liquigels a few hours ago...getting old is not pretty.
Congrats to all of the Theta pledges! And to all of the women who ran (through the chains) to their new homes today!

Looking forward to seeing how ADPi's process goes. Do we need to start a new thread?

Seriously, there's a million and a half Bid Day themes and you have to choose the cultural appropriation one?

Nice to see girls from so many different states. I also notice an AA girl in the new Phi Mu pledge class. I am proud that this seems to be handled with such maturity at Ole Miss |

I've been attempting to stalk PC pictures for all of you but haven't found much outside of pictures containing just a couple of sisters!
That being said...AOII's bid day theme was Friends (the TV show) and it is ADORABLE!!!

Ole Miss bid day blew my mind. So many parents, grandmas, brothers and sisters and the most beautiful flowers I could imagine. And so much swag waiting for the girls! Wall to wall in the street and in the house, and STILL these girls had perfect manners as they were getting jostled and stepped on.
The new fraternity pledges were everywhere and having a grand time. I know this could be argued for days, but imho, witnessed by 50 plus pages here, is that Ole Miss is the mothership of sorority recruitment.

I have a very estactic Tri Delta. Thank you GC for keeping me informed and sane.
