Well, I know I told y'all I was going into lurker mode, but then I didn't because there were still some questions. The moderators and the other posters know where to get info in case of . . . of whatever.
See you on the flip side babies!
["Babies" in a Mods & Rockers, post modern ironic way though.]

Has anyone seen the Ole Miss Panhellenic facebook page? There is a picture of what is appropriate to wear on pref night. There is a girl wearing white linen. White! linen! - after labor day!!! There is also another wearing flip flops with a formal LBD!
I am seriously NOT trying to be catty here, I just expected more from Ole Miss girls! We went out of our way to make sure that the dresses my daughter selected were appropriate for a Fall rush. Not an easy thing to do considering the summer like tempetures, but we at least tried!

This mom is officially lost!!! I am beginning to think we put too much thought into my daughters outfits! Should we put the fall fashion back into the closet and pull back out the summer dresses???

Wow! I am surprised. Your daughter should wear what she planned to wear, but if she is really worried, she will be able to ask the recruitment counselors and her fellow PNMs what they think. Good luck to her.
(None of those shoes look appropriate to me!)

The shoes on the pref picture aren't flip flops. The have a strap down the side and across the back.

The Panhellenic "What to wear" photos were originally posted on May 2. I suspect they wore what they had at the time that was the appropriate level of dressiness. It is unfortunate that they are not more seasonally appropriate.

Hee hee! The charity walk looks like a giant Delta Gamma event. I bet they were pleased with the free advertising. |
