I thought I would post a follow up. It has been just about a month since L joined Pi Beta Phi. She is having so much fun. I'm really proud that she has taken the initiative to eat at the chapter house almost every day for lunch and goes there every night for dinner. We rehashed a little bit yesterday at lunch. She said Pi Beta Phi was the right place for her and that she is really happy. She said she was a little butt hurt that Kaesha had released her going into preference because she really liked them and thought she made a connection. She didn't care that Joan released her. She can not see herself in that Chapter. She also said that she never saw herself in Mara or as a Mara. I asked her about Pnina and if she would have been invited to their party would it have been a hard decision. She said that she would have probably been on the phone with me for an hour trying to figure it it. I think she ended up exactly where she was supposed to be. I'm thrilled she is having such a good experience.
She is happy, healthy, involved and doing well in school. She loves the UofA.
