I agree that everyone would benefit from a clarification of the word and possible relaxing of rules that aren't mean, abusive, harmful in any way, etc. As an example, phone duty is not hazing and it has the benefit of helping the pledges get to know the live in members.

Also, calling pledges pledges isn't hazing

All IMO only.
