The next day was preference round! I was beyond excited to go see where I was asked. After a day of trying to find an outfit I went to grab my nametag wondering if I'd be invited to two parties or just one.
I opened to see:
Hermione Granger
Luna Lovegood
I was a little disappointed to see that Harry Potter hadn't invited me back, but I wasn't devastated. I knew the decision I'd have to make would be a difficult one.
First I went to Hermione Granger. I was picked up by two girls I had already talked with and I was excited to see them again. We didn't get to talk a lot because someone got up and said a lot about how much [COLOR="rgb(255, 0, 255)"]Hermione Granger[/COLOR] meant to her and I found it really touching. After that we went to see the ritual. Many of the actives were crying throughout the ritual and it was very sweet but I didn't have that "you'll know" feeling that everyone says you will. After the ritual I talked with another girl I had talked to before and we had a great conversation. I had a good time but I wasn't very sure if I would fit in with the girls there. I felt like there I might feel like I would have to be something I was not.
Second I went to Luna Lovegood. I was ecstatic to be picked up by a girl I had been friends with the previous year. I talked to her and another girl I'm already incredibly close with and I had a great time with some great food. While I was a little unwary about how people in the house felt about me I felt like it was a place where I fit in much more. I saw the ritual that had spoke to me so much before and I did realize I felt more at home there.
When I walked back I still did feel a little confused. I wasn't sure what decision was the right one because of what happened last year. It made me really nervous about what to pick. After I went to a rho gam I ended up nervously ranking my chapters like this:

I left hoping the system would put me where I need to be. The next day would be Bid Day!!!!!
