My daughter's two "besties" at U of I both are happy new Thetas (one is an in-house legacy). I'm SUPER excited that one of my rec girls (the daughter of one of MY very best friends) is thrilled to be one of my new Alpha Phi sisters! Her mom and two aunts were Alpha Phis at Iowa in the 80s, so we're all celebrating with happy tears.
I'm 99 percent sure that I see my other rec girl in the Theta picture . . . but am waiting for official confirmation.

Good news is that with the exception of AEPhi all of the chapters are now at or above total

Delta Delta Delta 50

Delta Zeta 51
Gamma Phi Beta 51

I didn't have stats for AEPhi
This year less drops in between registering for recruitment and Open House round
Also more girls were placed this year

My rec girl is a very happy new pledge of ZTA. Her mom is looking forward to getting some ZTA mom gear and is already stressing about rush in 3 years for daughter #2, knowing that mom will be pulling for A Xi D and daughter #1 will be pushing for ZTA.
In all my years I haven't seen such balanced numbers at Iowa. Congratulations to panhel for doing it right and to the girls who stayed with the process and found their homes.
