Description Of It? - I am responsible for how our company communicates internally and externally. All public relations and media relations are handled through me, and I work with a colleague on employee relations. My day-to-day job duties include reviewing most company correspondence, providing material for our website, producing all marketing materials (brochures, newsletters, fliers, ads, etc.), processing all charitable donations and managing a budget of nearly $600,000 for that purpose, speaking in schools and community groups about our company and industry, planning all employee events and parties, and representing our company to cities via membership on various boards of directors. I keep *very* busy!
Dream/Goal Career (if its not your current)? - I'd have to say that I'm pretty happy in my career, but I have a commute to and from work that is *rough*. I'd also have to be completely honest and say that my dream/goal career is to be independently wealthy and travel the world!
I am looking to interview for a new job where I would work from home... and that would be wonderful. Just taking it day-by-day and enjoying where I am and who I work with for now.
Name some jobs you have held in the past? - starting from college, I worked at Victoria's Secret, on campus with freshman orientation, congressional campaign intern, on campus with leadership programs, university newspaper editor, (*graduated*) did some consulting work, wrote for a non-profit's magazine, and was in charge of a summer surfing festival. Phew!
