UW Madison

Today was BID DAY at Wisconsin, and quota was 59!!
Ten of the eleven sororities got at least quota, and Gamma Phi Beta has 59 New Members at Gamma.
The whole campus had great numbers, and (I felt), quite good retention, so snaps all around! Of the 870ish registered, over 72% received bids (and that includes all young women who withdrew before and during rounds).

59 for Alpha Chi Omega too! Congrats to every chapter on a successful recruitment.

Sad News

A friend going through recruitment at North Carolina State University received an email the day before pref night that Delta Delta Delta would be dropping out of formal recruitment, and recruiting no new members. After spring semester, there will no longer be an active chapter of Tri Delta at NC State.

I can only imagine the heartbreak that PNMs and members alike are feeling, especially in the middle of recruitment.

How unfortunate! And at a campus with such high Greek hopes/upcoming stacked expansion.
