My friend invited me to see it again this evening but I have non-theater partying to do. I may wait for it to go to $2.50 theater or just wait for DVD.
Some of the MSN movie reviews are really ignorant. It is like reading a GC Race War. Idiots cannot grasp why President Obama is referenced in the movie and think it is a Democrat pro-Obama angle? Seriously? Idiots think Black people need a movie to inform or remind us of stuff as though we don't have other things to do that? Idiots think inequalities are over just because life seems relatively peaceful and we have a POTUS who is a Black man? Idiots.
President Regan's family takes issue with how he is depicted. Of course the people you love would take issue. I don't believe Hollywood and media but Hollywood and media no more exaggerate or lie than family. As with every President, there were good and bad moments. JFK was depicted quite well and the actors who depicted he and JKO were gorgeous. Still, JFK had some "isht with him" that was not depicted in the movie. This is not The History Channel. I did get teary eyed quite a few times during this movie including when JKO had blood on her dress.
