I really think it depends on the chapter, every once in a while I would see an introduction form for a legacy, but informal at WSU is pretty laid back. That being said, I think it is wise for your sister to spend the semester making positive relationships with as many Greek women as possible. Positive being the key word here. This will date me and my time at WSU, but getting drunk with sorority girls at Green house is not the impression she wants to be making. Each year is also different, some years, only 1-3 chapter participate in informal recruitment, other years the majority of the chapter participate. If you have questions regarding specific chapters, PM me, I still know women in a handful of chapters and I know even more still in Pullman advising their chapters!
