There are a lot of shorts out there that aren't Nike shorts. I would go ahead and wear a super cute pair of shorts that you would NOT wear to work out in. You are going to a party, after all. A cute pair of shorts that have an actual inseam would seem appropriate.

Would a casual sundress be too much? I feel like for during the heat of the day a light dress would be comfortable. Opinions?
