Possible Quota......
A text was sent to me quota was 110. Is there a quota per chapter this year due to huge number of pnms?

Varies for each chapter...not a hard and fast number but a range. Some will take more, some less, depending on if they're at total or not (as always) but there are quota additions (I think) so that almost everyone who attended at least one pref, "maximizing their options," is placed.

Quota Addiions
Can someone give me their opinion on QAs? I have heard some advisors say it makes a chapter look weak, some say it makes a chapter look strong. Since in my experience there is no hard and fast rule on what girls go where when Panhellenic is scrambling to place girls who maximized their options.

Under the old recruitment method, it tended to make the strong ones stronger and further weaken the weaker ones.
But with the new method, it does what it was meant to do - place as many PNMs as possible.
Result - stronger chapters for everybody.
IMHO.

really? I have never heard of this. Usually there is a quota range leading up to them setting quota. Once quota is set is is a hard number for every one except for the quota additions. Usually it doesn't matter it they are at total or not. Is this just an Alabama thing?

No no...roughly a guess on my part. I'm not there.
Lots of variations, though, in how many each group takes. Or gets.

Quota is a hard and fast number. QAs will cause the varying numbers. By the time I left T-town this AM, they hadn't been told what quota was for sure but were thinking 107 was it with 10 UC. We took 123.
