I heard about this from a friend whose daughter participated in recruitment at OU. I'm not trying to throw gas on the fire, but this girl was the epitome of the term, legacy. Apparently, her mother and two aunts were all members of this same house at OU, and her sister is sitting (a present member) of the house as well. Plus one of the aunts served on the sorority's advisory committee to celebrate the house's 100 year anniversary.
its true. It literally does not matter how many connections you have to a house at OU, they will and do cut ANYONE. Maybe this girl did not have the grades. That is one thing these houses will not compromise on.

I think that's clear across the board from school to school how important grades are. I thought most of the grade cuts were earlier and wouldn't happen after Pref round. Again, we don't know the WHY? for this particular girl and can only vent and/or speculate.
