Now that you have acknowledged the potential challenges your class standing and GPA might pose, just focus on the aspects you can control (like recs, for example, from people who can highlight your strengths), and then move forward with no regrets.

The only outcome anyone can predict with certainty: The only way you will never be Greek for certain is never to try.
