Ours was pretty plain - golden yellow cake, chocolate mousse filling, white buttercream icing. It had four tiers, and the icing looked like fondant but was buttercream. A ribbon matching the bridesmaids' blue was around the bottom of each tier, with "pearls" on either side. There was a magnolia at the top.
What I had wanted was a flurry of snowflakes, whoosing from the top to the bottom of the cake, but even though the cake decorator spoke Russian, she must not have figured out snowflakes.
Believe or not, we STILL do not have our pictures - it's been 19 months! - or I'd post a picture.
