I am embarrassed at how much I love the McDonald's dipped cone. I think it's because a) Dipped Cones are a guilty pleasure of mine and b) they're smaller than say, DQ. I hope that they don't carry them for long...
DH is all about Cherry Garcia. He will do a freezer check, just to make sure we have at least one pint for him! I like it, too, but NOBODY loves it the way DH does!

Take me back, please. NOW. Best on the planet. Used to beg for rides into Santa Barbara, to the one on Mission.

Okay, we were back in PA for a long weekend, and after the Steeler's preseason game (at Primanti's, y'all!), decided to stop at Bruster's. Sadly, it was closed (at 10pm? On a Saturday night? Come on, people!). So, I was deprived of my Chocolate Raspberry Truffle waffle cone, after doing three days of emotional manual labor! *pout*

Banana Chocolate Chip is my favorite from Graeter's Ice Cream. Words cannot express the euphoria I experience from eating that ice cream

I didn't read this whole thread, and I know this is not gourmet, but has anyone else tried the drumsticks that have the cookie crunch in a chocolate coating? Sorry I am bad with brands - I think it might be made by Nestle. It is a vanilla cone with a chocolate "plug" in the bottom of the cone to prevent leaks. Then the ice cream scoop is covered with a chocolate shell that has cookie bits in it. There is peanut butter ice cream, caramel, mint chocolate chip, and vanilla. Oh man, they are addictive.

Sounds like you're near my hometown (Cincinnati). I grew up on Graeter's Ice Cream which is, without a doubt, the best ever.
I love a lot of different ice cream flavors but for purposes of the thread, I'll just start with Butter Pecan as my default-favorite flavor.
...thanks TP24, got me thinking about detouring to the local grocery store freezer to get a little taste of home.

Try the new Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Peppermint Crunch. It's chocolate ice cream with a mint swirl and little thin mint crunchies. I'm not the biggest chocolate mint ice cream fan but this is my new favorite.

I try to get Jeni's ice cream no more than once a month from Whole Foods (it goes for $13 a pint!). I'm boring and usually just get their dark chocolate and put some strawberries on it, but it is heaven. Rich, creamy, I just won't buy anything else anymore.

Ooooo sounds yummy. I'm definitely more of a frozen yogurt person than an ice cream person, but there are some things about ice cream that will just always win out i.e. the perfect mint chocolate chip.
I love Ben & Jerrys, so I'll definitely have to give it a try.

Oberweis Chocolate Peanut Butter.
But a good Butter Pecan or Mint Chocolate Chip is good, too. Also-31 flavors Jamoca Coffee (do they still make it?)

Mint chocolate chip and chocolate chocolate chip are my favorites. (Can you tell I'm a chocoholic? )
A few years ago, I lived in a small town with an ice cream parlor that offered "Chocolate Lace". The ice cream was mixed with sugar candy that had been coated in chocolate. NOM. The ironic part was that the parlor was in the same building as a dentist's office.
