I'm usually kitchen or clean up, so I wear gym clothes. When I was on-site with another chapter in a capacity that required me to be in view of PNMs, I'd wear something similar to what they wore, but not so identical that someone mistook me for a collegian. Ex: When everyone wore purple lettered polos and khakis, I wore a purple button down and khakis.

I have been known to wear work attire (jeans and a t-shirt) and just to bring something appropriate and dressier to wear later when I need to be seen by folks not drudging.

Ha, as a smaller chapter, we tried to make the young alums look like collegians :-)

Funny story about that same visit. I knew I'd be in and out of the "on the floor" area so I dressed like I stated above. Full disclosure, I am about 5'0, 100 lbs and am routinely mistaken for 19. I was in the main hallway leading up to where chapters were having their Go Greek (first round parties.) I was chatting up the Greek Advisor's GA near where a group of PNMs had arrived and were waiting for their PXs to take them up to the rooms. A girl in the group turned to me and asked "Omg, I'm so nervous. How are you so calm?" I kindly remarked that I was calm because I haven't been a PNM in almost 10 years. She couldn't believe it.
