IFC =/= NIC. The North-Anerican Interfraternity Conference is an umbrella group to which inter/national GLOs can belong. IFCs are campus groups to which chapters, sometimes including chapters of non-NIC fraternities, can belong.

And of course, 4 of the 5 NPHC fraternities also belong to the NIC.

If the person you're talking to knows you are (basically) excluding the BGLOs, LGLOs, and MCGLOs which are also members of NIC, as we are in this thread.
