I thought of this thread today, because I have no idea where else to post this:
St. Benedict and St. Francis were having an argument over which order was the greater: the Benedictines or Franciscans. They decided they would write to God and ask Him to decide. They received a letter in reply:
My Beloved Sons,
Both of your orders are blessed in my sight, equal in importance and worth.
