That was exactly my thought at the beginning of the year. Now I feel it goes deeper than that. Between AP and dual enrollment, my daughter would have started college with 31 credits if she'd gone to the state university where I teach. W&L granted her 9. And, they wanted her to repeat the same level foreign language course she'd already gotten an A in as a dual enrollment student. Her advisor overrode that. In retrospect she should have repeated the course. The language courses were the hardest ones this year. The level of rigor, and the reading and workload greatly surpasses what she'd previously experienced, and I can say she's getting a great education.
