I could swear that I read The Help before, but I picked it up last night, and it doesn't seem like I did read it. So, I'm reading The Help.

Ditto on both of these. The Night Circus is really unique. The author has a fantastic imagination!

I've been reading a fun mystery series by Rhys Bowen, called Her Royal Spyness mysteries. They're about a penniless daughter of a Duke in the early 1930s who solves mysteries along with her equally penniless aristocratic boyfriend. They're well-written...funny, some romance, interesting plots. The 6th one is out now and is very good.

KR, I finished The Help in almost record time - it was excellent! I'm now trying to decide what fiction I'm going to read next (although I hate to call The Help fiction, it's so true to life).

I just finished "The Elite" (Selection Series). I've liked the series so far. Now, I'm trying VERY hard not to start a new book so that I have time to get everything put together for a big event I'm working this weekend. IT'S KILLING ME! I even bought my husband the Spanish version of City of Bones (Mortal Instruments series) last night so that I can live vicariously through his reading. I think I need help. And I hug. I really need a hug.

just finished The Known World by Edward P. Jones, and this evening will probably wrap up Twelve Years a Slave by Solomon Northrop.

Next book is Ghana Must Go by Taiye Selasi.

I am reading Tana French's Faithful Place. She writes a series called the Dublin Mysteries. The first was In the Woods. Each series has a different member of the Dublin Police Department as the lead character. I am loving Faithful Place.
