My heart just broke a little. We shared the same birthdate. When I was a kid I always thought she was so pretty.

My mother and another friend have the same birthday, too - but not the same year. I posted on Facebook how the DJs I listened to declared 22 October as "High Holy Day" to silliness, and played Annette clips throughout the morning. Good stuff.

But count me among those who are crushed by this news...
