I couldn't agree more. It seems like Ashanti's being jammed down our throats. (She's everywhere!) Subconsciously, I think its an attempt to fill the void left by Aaliyah. It doesn't help that she had on an Aaliyah T-shirt in one of her videos.
She's pretty, but I'm not impressed with her singing. She has just had the pleasure of singing some catchy hooks in some high-profile songs.
