I feel like fraternity rivalries are healthy if they are done right. Usually your rivals are a similar chapter so you should have a healthy respect for them as well as a healthy desire to kick their ass in competition. Greek life competition can be fun as long as it is in good taste and everyone can grab a beer together afterwards. We always throw a pigs head onto our rivals property after the pig roast and they usually return it to us in some inglorious fashion although this year they cleaned it and put it in their house. We still have mixers together and generally like each other but we still like to mess with each other every once in a while.
