Arkansas recruitment is very, very competitive. Recs are essential, and should be from someone who knows you personally, if at all possible. Just as important will be your spring semester. Join at least one campus activity (2 would be better) to show that you plan to be an active participant on campus, and make connections. Talk to greek women in a non-stalkerish way. Having an insider pulling for you during recruitment is a significant advantage for any PNM. Get good grades, don't be a drunken embarrassment at parties, and have fun. While it is competitive, all of the chapters are excellent and the greek experience is more than worthwhile at Arkansas.
