Try to check them all out-- you'll get a better feel this way. Talk to some local students.

Thank you. I was thinking of asking the LGBT center that they have on campus. It's HUGE. I know they've sponsored events with the IFC.

That's a great idea, and it sounds like they will be a good resource. See if there are Greek members in the LGBT center, as well, and you'll probably get some good answers to your questions.
Good luck and I hope everything works out!

Thank you very much! Oh, also, do you think it would be difficult to rush junior year as an Economics major?

I don't know enough about your school's Greek culture, but at my undergrad, being an upperclassman pledge in a fraternity wasn't as big of a deal as being an upperclassman in sorority recruitment. And a lot of the guys in fraternities at my school were in heavy sciences majors, as well as business, computer science, etc. If someone can manage to be on the exec board and complete a degree in Mechanical Engineering, I'd like to say you will be fine. It doesn't seem anyone on GC is familiar with your school's Greek Life, so the best we can do is be encouraging and suggest you reach out to local students who will have the best information for you. Keep us posted!
