Round 4
So it was another early morning wake up and I was nervous hoping that Jenny would not be on my list! My pi chi handed it to me and yes Jenny was no longer there but neither was Bart. I had Blair, Chuck, and Dan left. At first I was okay but then as I was going through classes it hit me. I just didn't understand why I kept getting dropped! After a meltdown with my mom on the phone I pulled myself together and went to my first party.
Round 4 (Preference Round)
Dan- I had heard pref was a lot different then the other rounds but I never expected the clapping to stop! I got paired with a girl I had never talked to before and it was horrendously awkward. We couldn't figure out things to talk about and it was even worse when she leaned over to the girl next to me and told her how happy she was that she was back. Then to top it all of their slide show didn't work so I just didn't know what to do anymore.
Blair- This time I was more prepared for what to expect. I got paired with a girl I talked to the day before and I loved her. She was so perky and outgoing and I really just felt like I was talking to a girl who I was friends with. There was never a dull moment or a pause and I was alreadu talking about how I was going to teach her to curl her hair. I had loved this sorority from the begining and I wasn't sure what had changed my mind in between.
Chuck- Going into this I was really hoping I would get a girl I talked to the day before I loved her and felt like we had a lot in common. I walked through the door and there she was waiting for me. I was so excited. I had a great conversation with her and their ceremony was so nice.
I walked out so confused I had no idea which to put first. I got back to my dorm and called my mom almost on the verge of tears again. This morning I was angry and hurt but after rounds I was confused she talked me through it and this is what I eventually decided:
