It Still Goes On
I remember when I was growing up and began to get invitations from my white classmates for play dates, sleep overs, parties, etc. My mom told me that their parents would probably ask me questions about my family and they sure enough did! The only difference is that back then, the parents asked the children directly or got their kids to ask for them. MissPriss, I think you were right to turn around and ask the same questions.
