Whats the age range in most sororities?

She means you will be on the older end of the women who are in sororities. Most prospective new members are first semester freshmen.

Go through recruitment when the time comes and check it out. I have a thread marked "General Advice" in the recruitment forum which may be helpful.

Being a member of a group doesn't mean you have instant friends. It just means you are part of an organization. You have to put in the effort to get to know people, go to the events, etc., just as you did in high school. Wherever you end up in college, make an effort to get involved with a variety of activities that interest you. Your community college should have several student organizations, for a start.
